Cloche Party!

Our hostess of this Cloche Party is one of the most gracious bloggers you will have the pleasure of meeting. Marty, At A Stroll Thru Life has a kind word for all and is simply great fun! So when you are finished having a look around here, visit Marty's site to see what creative and wonderful ideas the other participants have dreamed up.
Cloches have held a special fascination for me this past year so "Lets Get This Party Started"!

Enjoy Your Visit! ~Cathy~

Cloche Definition
Pronunciation: \ˈklōsh\
Function: noun Etymology: French, literally, bell, from Medieval Latin clocca
Date: 1882
1 : a transparent plant cover used outdoors especially for protection against cold
2 : a woman's close-fitting hat usually with deep rounded crown and narrow brim

You could definitely throw an intimate and elegant party in this bigger then life sized Cloche! It is actually a conservatory and gathering place in a neighborhood of French style homes. It creates the perfect focal point perched on a hill surrounded by urns, overflowing with colorful flowers. The delicate structure creates Old World Charm and lends an appropriate European flavor to the quaint and charming community. It is available for parties under the stars and is a perfect spot to enjoy a pleasant afternoon on one of its garden benches.

The Dream Keeper!

I am joining Julia at Hooked on Houses for her weekly Friday event. I am definitely Hooked on Cloches of all shapes and sizes and this conservatory is a grand one !
I appreciate lovely spots like this that enhance my daily life and also want to share it with Melissa at The Inspired Room's for A Beautiful Life.

To view more participants be sure and visit Julia and Melissa's sites when you are finished here.

  23. Thank you for a cloche that everyone can enjoy
and not the one intended for one's head. True
many can see the personal hat type but this
can serve to provide intimate elegant parties
that several can enjoy at once. Great spot for
