Cathy, what great pictures! I love B&W ones that tell a great deal of story.

I was reading some of my older tablescape posts and I read yours about me publishing a book on my tables. I've been asked that so many times, I've really been considering it lately. I do want to have a better grasp at taking better pictures first though. It's been hit and miss with me so I think I need to hit the library and brush up on photography 101.

Oh yeah, sorry I haven't visited for a while.

that book is lovely! Even if I had to read your comment to understand what was beautiful about the architecture ;-) I guess when you live in Europe you see these houses so often the beauty of them becomes invisible.

Cathy~ What a marvelous find and at a quarter...priceless. It's so wonderful that you with great appreciation knew what a treasure this book is. Can you imagine the stories that could be told from the people within these pages. I enjoyed the informative tidbits...like "No traditional French waiter sports a mustache. That facial adornment is reserved for the chief!"
